slutsky travel photoThroughout her years of attending medical school and conducting research, Emily Slutsky has also found time to explore the world while traveling to many beautiful and historical cities.

Cork, Ireland:

From 2009 to 2013, Emily lived in Cork, Ireland where she studied medicine at University College Cork. Cork is Ireland’s second largest city. It is home to many traditional towns and villages mixed with modern offices and buildings, complete with a sparking youthful energy. Among the scenic streets filled with pubs, shops, and restaurants, some of the highlights of the city include the Church of St. Anne and the Shandon Bells, as well as the Crawford Municipal Art Gallery.

During this time, Emily Slutsky also had to the opportunity to travel to many other areas across Europe including Belfast, Prague, and Spain.

Belfast:

Belfast is the capital and largest city in Northern Ireland. Home to the author of Chronicles of Narnia and the filming location for Game of Thrones, Belfast is made up of unique landscapes that are truly inspirational. Belfast is considered the heart of Northern Ireland for the arts, higher education, business, and law. It is also noted as the country’s major economic centre.

Spain:

Spain is largely known for its art, culture, history, cuisine, and architecture. Each region takes great pride in its unique festivals and customs. Some of the most well known aspects of Spain include the architecture and design of Antoni Gaudi in Barcelona, the Alhambra in Granada, the paella from Valencia, and the elegant and skillful dance known as Flamenco.

Prague:

Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic and its largest city. For years it has been known as the political, cultural and economic centre of central Europe. The city has preserved its thousands of years of history in more than ten major museums and other historical sites. Some notable sites include the Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge, and the Lennon Wall.
